My Dear Friend,
My sister was watching tv in Wisconsin(Greenbay) and it said that Kay Jewelers was doing that for Val. day to give back to the community,so she called me In Michigan and asked if we had Kays here??I told her yes and she explained as she knows my situation,so I called Kay’s here and they were unaware of the situation. I then went to the Internet and looked up Kay’s so I called Customer Service and questioned them. The lady said No,then she said wait a minute she read in the paper about YOU she asked if she could call me back in the am? She then the next morn called me early and gave me your website so I went there.
I read up on you and your husband and what you were doing.I did go to the list of Jewelers you had posted and then….There was 1 right around the cornor from me. I called them when they opened and went there and YES they did give me a Sterling Heart necklace I had the proof and all I did was cry when I was sharing my story with them. I tried not to but until you are there in that situation you can’t understand the hurt despaire feelings we have.
The name of the jeweler was Pat’s on OLD VANDYKE in Washington,Mich @ 30 mile rd and I live @ 26 and Vandyke. The 2 Lady’s in there were SO SO Wonderful friendly compassionate etc,nd that is why my heart let loose,with tears.
So sweetheart I thank you from the bottom of my heart,for doing what you did and asking other jewelers to do this and I hope all that went to the other jewelers walked away with hope and inspiration as I did.I am 56 haven’t been out of work for years,and now it’s right in front of me ,don’t like it one bit either as I have NO INSURANCE @ all ,,,so there you have the story .Again Thank You, from my heart to yours,hope to hear from you again ,,God Bless You and All of Us, I’m very patriotic,I am known as the Flag lady and I give Angels away to the ones who need them as I have a huge collection or I go and but them one what every the situation calls for or should I say use to buy ,,can’t now ...Pray for us as I will and have.
