Appraisals
We appraise all kinds of jewelry, diamonds and gemstones. Most jewelry has increased in value over the years, and many people find that are underinsured. All appraisals are done on-premises, and your jewelry is kept insured in our safe. Our owner George Fox, a Certified Gemologist and Graduate Gemologist, completes all of our appraisals. Reduced fee verbal appraisal consultations are also available.
Pearl/Bead Stringing
We string all types of pearls and beads, knotted and without knots, including graduated and multi strands.
Watch Repair
We fix most brands of watches, regardless of age. Some repairs can be done while you wait, such as battery replacement, watch band sizing and replacement.
Engraving
Whether on a ring, silver spoon or trophy, we’ll engrave your personal message. We engrave by hand or machine in all types of metals, including titanium.
Diamond and Gemstone Cutting and Polishing
Chipped diamonds can be recut to eliminate the risk of further breakage. Recutting a poorly cut diamond can transform it from dull to brilliant!
Many gemstones such as rubies and sapphires become scratched with wear. We can polish them to look like new
Plating
We plate jewelry and small metal objects in gold or silver.
Silver Refurbishment
We fix broken sterling and silver plated pieces, including serving and tableware, decorative and antique pieces.
